PHP Ledger 1.4.7: maintenance has stopped for lack of funds
PHP Ledger is open source, and 1.4.7 is the latest release. No further updates or fixes are planned until the work is funded.
What 1.4.7 changes
1.4.7 carries a round of fixes and corrections. It runs on your own server exactly as earlier 1.4.x releases did, under the same AGPL-3.0-or-later licence (the 0.1.x previews stay under MIT).
Why maintenance has stopped
Accounting software that businesses can trust with their books needs more than code: accountants to check every posting rule and report, lawyers to keep it right with each country's tax and company law, and engineers working on it full time. That costs more than the project currently has, so Bixisoft is raising USD 135,000 to fund a year of continued open-source work on PHP Ledger. Everything built with that funding is released as open source under the AGPL-3.0.
What stays available
The source code and the installable package remain on the release page below. Existing installations keep running; there will be no further updates or fixes until the work is funded, so keep your server and PHP patched and keep tested backups of your data.
